~ Felghana Archives ~
After regaining my memories in the land of Celceta, I feel rather at home with my newfound title of 'Adventurer.' Now that I've reunited with my old friend Dogi, it's been suggested that we venture to his homeland of Felghana, where he'd studied combat techniques in his youth under a master named Berhardt. As we headed northeast across Europe on the long road to this somewhat isolated, volcanic land, we stumbled upon a troupe of performers and decided to have our fortunes told. Little did we know how accurate the reading would be...
~ Game Features ~
  • Experience the old-school RPG combat the Ys series is known for, with added difficulty options and quality-of-life enhancements like "Turbo" mode, as you fight your way through a memorable fantasy world.
  • Not only are there voiced events for more than 30 characters, but for the first time, there's also newly recorded voiceover for Adol Christin.
  • Along with an improved framerate, Ys Memoire features all-new "Refined" character illustrations throughout the game, along with "Classic" interpretations for players to switch between at a whim.
  • Well regarded for its outstanding soundtrack, this version features three different iterations of the epic score (Original, PC-8801, and X68000) for players to choose from, all remastered in high-quality audio.
~ There's No Place Like Home ~
When redheaded thrill-seeker Adol Christin and his eternal blue-haired companion Dogi make an unannounced visit to Dogi's homeland of Felghana after an eight-year absence, it quickly becomes apparent that things have changed dramatically. Hordes of violent monsters roam the outskirts of town, a long-dormant volcano has suddenly sprung back to life, and the new lord of the land has begun mercilessly and inexplicably extorting money from its long-suffering citizens.
While Dogi seeks out his former combat master for answers, Adol tends to the townsfolk - and finds himself embroiled in a world of political conspiracies, ancient legacies, and unthinkable taboos.
~ Elemental Bracelets ~
In addition to Adol's standard Slash and Lunge attacks, he can acquire elemental bracelets that grant magical abilities.
  • The Ignis Bracelet: The Fire elemental power of this bracelet allows Adol to unleash fireballs, similar to the Fire Wand found in Ys II. After acquiring at least one Ruby, Adol can hurl a massive, exploding fireball.
  • The Ventus Bracelet: The Wind elemental power of this bracelet spins Adol's whole body like a bladed whirlwind. Combat potential aside, activating this magic while jumping can be used to glide through the air, crossing wide chasms to find hidden locations. After acquiring at least one Emerald, Adol can transform into a vicious tornado.
  • The Terra Bracelet: The Earth elemental power of this bracelet makes Adol's body temporarily impervious to damage and can be used to break through certain walls. Watch for cracks or other structural flaws! After acquiring at least one Topaz, Adol can move at breakneck speed, generating a powerful shockwave.
~ Boost & Double Boost ~
When Adol's Boost Gauge reaches 100%, you can activate Boost Mode. Adol's body will glow and his abilities will be temporarily enhanced. Both the speed and strength of Adol's attacks will increase significantly while Boost Mode is in effect. Adol will take only half damage and will suffer no knock-back or interruption when hit by enemies. He will be momentarily invincible when Boost Mode is first activated.
